Bio for bookers

Kevin Alderman has spent the first 40 years of his life unknowingly gathering material for his show. Dysfunctional family members, marriage, kids, business…life. You know, the things most people deal with.

His whole life he has wanted to make people laugh. At the age of 40 he decided to do it as a career. He didn’t want to be 60 years old saying “I sure wish I would’ve…” Now he’s worked up and down the east coast for the Comedy Zone and other independent bookers as well as creating his own shows. His comedy is clean, fun and will catch you by surprise. Now if he feels the need to “blue” it up, he can. It may be just a light blue but blue none the less. Probably more of an aqua blue but still; blue!

Kevin’s newest project is his Midlifers Stand Up Tour. He has assembled four great comedians with over 60 years of comedy experience. Headliners Julie Scoggins, Ken Evans, Tony Boswell and of course himself. Four comedians who understand “life begins at 40″ so now it’s time to party.

Kevin’s cool approach to life and his hip background make for a fun show. As a teenager he has performed 100’s of times as a breakdancer named Tik Tak. At 18 his performances were exciting and fun to watch at 43 it’s just great comedy. He may be middle aged but he still feels like a teenager at least in his mind.

He is available for corporate shows, comedy clubs and private parties. Kevin has worked with the likes of Craig Shoemaker, Ralphie May, and Jerry Farber just to name three.
